Privacy Policy
In short
- Solo games against bots run on your device and work offline. When you're online, the app creates a guest account for you automatically, so your points and progress are kept. It has no name or email.
- We keep what's needed to run the game: your account, username, games, points and settings, plus usage statistics you can turn off.
- We never sell your personal information. LaRevolt has no purchases, so we never handle payment details.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time.
- LaRevolt is for adults (18+).
1. Who we are
LaRevolt (the game, the Android app and the website at larevolt.com) is operated by OneStopReal LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 2232 Dell Range Blvd, Suite 303-1268, Cheyenne, WY 82009, United States ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Questions or requests about your privacy: info@onestopreal.com.
2. What we collect
Your guest account
When you open LaRevolt while online, we create a guest account for you automatically: a random account identifier, a random username (like Player4821) and a friend code. It has no name or email address. It holds your points, statistics and settings (theme, sound, bot speed and similar), so they're kept and can follow you to another device once you sign in with Google. Solo games against bots run entirely on your device: we don't receive your cards or moves.
Visiting the website or downloading the app
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information when you load larevolt.com: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested, with the time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
When you use online features
Online play, friends, tournaments and the points wallet need an account. We then collect:
- Account details: an account identifier, the username you choose and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account's name, email address, profile picture link and account identifier. Guest accounts have no email address.
- Gameplay data: the games and tournaments you play, your places, wins, points balance and transactions (including daily and tutorial bonuses), statistics, achievements, friends list, and your settings. If you watch ads to earn points, a record of each one (with Google's reference for it), so every ad pays exactly once.
- Communications: messages, emoji and quick phrases you send at a table (free-text chat exists only in private games with friends), and reports or blocks you make.
- Device and technical data: whether you play on Android or the web, the app version, and, if you allow notifications, a notification token (and the related Firebase identifier) with your time zone, so reminders arrive at a sensible hour. Crash reporting and ads may receive more about your device; see below.
- Server logs: our game servers receive your IP address and basic request details with every online request, and keep them in short-lived logs (for example of sign-ins and errors) to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Analytics and crash reports
To balance the game and the points economy, we record usage events in our own database: for example opening the app, starting or finishing a solo match or a tutorial lesson, and claiming a bonus, together with your account identifier, platform (Android or web) and app version. We don't use cookies or advertising identifiers for this, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings ("Share usage statistics").
If something crashes, Sentry receives the error details, your device type, operating system, app version and account identifier, so we can fix it.
Advertising
LaRevolt is free and may show ads, including optional ads you can watch to earn points. Ads are provided by Google (AdMob in the app, AdSense or similar on the web), which may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address and how you interact with ads. Where required, for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before ads are personalised, and you can change your choice later in the game's settings. You can also reset or opt out of your advertising ID in your device settings.
Checking that you're a person
When a guest account is created, Cloudflare Turnstile may check that it's being created by a person and not a script, using technical signals from your browser or device such as your IP address. This protects the points economy from fake accounts; it isn't used for advertising.
What we don't collect
We don't collect payment details (there are no purchases), your precise location, your contacts, photos or files, or any sensitive personal information.
3. How we use it
- To run the game: accounts, matchmaking, tournaments, the points wallet, friends and table communication. (Legal basis in the EU/UK: performing our contract with you.)
- To keep it fair and safe: preventing cheating and abuse, moderating usernames and messages, handling reports, and enforcing our Terms of Use. (Our legitimate interests, and legal obligations.)
- To improve it: analytics and crash reports. (Your consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interests.)
- To show ads: as described above. (Your consent where required.)
- To contact you about your account, or with notifications you've turned on.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that run parts of the game for us, under contracts that limit how they use it:
- Supabase: database, accounts and game servers (hosted in the European Union, Ireland).
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Google: Google sign-in, Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), AdMob/AdSense (ads) and Google Play (app distribution).
- Sentry: crash and error reporting.
- Cloudflare: checking that new guest accounts are created by people (Turnstile).
Other players see your username and avatar, your place and points at the table, and the messages you send. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect players or our rights, or as part of a business transfer (for example, if the game is sold), in which case this policy continues to apply.
5. International transfers
We're based in the United States and some of our providers process data in the US and other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and gameplay data: while your account exists. The moves of online games are deleted after 30 days; their results stay with your account.
- Table messages: deleted automatically after 30 days, unless they're part of a report under review.
- When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days. We may keep limited records where the law requires it, and anonymised statistics that no longer identify you.
- Usage statistics: up to 14 months. Crash reports: up to 90 days. Hosting and server logs: for the short periods set by our providers.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Israeli privacy law or US state laws such as California's), you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it, or delete your account;
- object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent (for analytics or personalised ads) at any time;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To use these rights, email info@onestopreal.com. We'll answer within 30 days and may need to confirm the request comes from the account owner. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data at any time:
- In the app: tap your name at the top of the home screen, then Delete account (guest accounts too).
- On the web: at larevolt.com/delete-account, for accounts linked to Google.
- By email: from the address of your Google account to info@onestopreal.com. We'll delete it within 30 days.
Deleting removes your sign-in, profile, username, friends, points, statistics and settings immediately. We keep only records that no longer identify you: that points were paid or spent, usage statistics without your account identifier, and a note that an account was deleted. A guest account is tied to your device: if you remove the app or clear its data without signing in with Google, it can't be recovered.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your Google account.
10. Age requirement
LaRevolt is intended for adults aged 18 and over and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy as the game changes and post the new version here with a new effective date. For significant changes we'll also let you know in the game.
